Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Brian “ Corky” Warren is the host of “The Time Machine” which airs each Saturday evening from 8 pm 'til 12 midnight on Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT. The exciting show is a mix of interviews with Rock & Roll legends and great oldies. Spotlighting these Rock & Roll legends each week is something that Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Corky Warren feels very strongly about.

“In a world filled with ever changing attitudes and musical tastes, we must not forget the roots of rock and roll. The people that made it happen !” says Corky. “To me this is payback time for all the years of great music these people have given us.”

Joe Terry of “Danny and the Juniors” said, ” Listen to Corky if you want the real story of Rock and Roll… No punches pulled.“

Chubby Checker stated, "Listen to Corky! Get smart! Learn something!"

In the first hour of Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's "The Time Machine," we go back to a particular year, learn a little about that era, and of course hear music from that time. Then, it's Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT requests and dedications all night long. Just like the old days. The Cruisin' 92.1 listener becomes the WVLT Program Director.

Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Corky Warren is an accomplished musician himself and has toured with many of these rock legends making it easy to get them on "The Time Machine." Most recently, Corky played bass and sang backup for Rock Legend Charlie Gracie in the summer of 2003. Charlie is a rock and roll pioneer and the one of very first rockers to come out of Philly. Gracie still lives in our coverage area and is constant listener to South Jersey's #1 Oldies Powerhouse, Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT.

In his radio career, Corky’s mentors were people like the Legendary Sally Starr and Jerry Blavat, also a living legend (and both on Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT). “You can learn so much by just watching and listening to talents like Starr and Blavat. Now, I’m lucky enough to be working with them," says Corky. Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Corky Warren also sites other legends, Alan Freed and Wolfman Jack as early influences.

Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Corky Warren has won the prestigious “Best of the Best” award given out by the Gannet Press for the years 1998 , 1999 and 2003 and “One of the Best” in the years 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Corky is passionate about the music, the fans and the sponsors of which he calls, “Family Members." Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Corky Warren and his loving wife and partner of over three decades, Laurie, have worked on two award winning television programs dealing with Rock and Roll. He began his radio career at WVLT and couldn’t be happier to be “Home” as he puts it, at Cruisin’ 92.1, WVLT! You can e-mail Corky at

Corky Warren is just one more reason why Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT is
