For three decades, Cruisin’ 92.1, WVLT’s Lou Costello has been entertaining people throughout the Delaware Valley and has worked stages from the Poconos to Atlantic City. Known to his many fans as the “Dancing DJ,” because Cruisin’ 92.1, WVLT’s Lou Costello often joins the legions of dancers down on the dance floor at many of his record hops. Lou is very well known to get his crowd going by just jumping right into the middle of all the excitement.

Cruisin’ 92.1, WVLT’s Lou Costello is often known as “Philly’s Phavorite DJ and has worked with Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon, Tony Orlando, Jimmy Beaumont (The Skyliners), The Duprees and Johnny Maestro (of the Crests and the Brooklyn Bridge) and the legendary Cozy Morley.

Cruisin’ 92.1, WVLT’s Lou Costello can be heard Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm on “The Doo Wop Diner.” It’s one of the most popular shows on Cruisin’ 92.1, WVLT. Tony Testa of the Duprees has said, Cruisin’ 92.1, WVLT’s “Lou Costello is a true professional, and is a pleasure to work with.”

In April 2003, Lou Costello was inducted into the membership of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia, an organization of 300 area broadcasters, all with at least 15 years experience in the business.
