Ken Schaffer was the host of The Sunday Night Supper Club heard Sunday evenings from 9 pm to midnight on WVLT for a couple of years. The Sunday Night Supper Club was a show featuring local artists and standards from the world of Jump, Blues, Big Band, Jazz, and Swing.
In addition to featuring local artists, Ken has brought many national acts and artists to the Supper Club through his contacts in the entertainment business. Guests have included close personal friend and premiere Philadelphia Jazz Vocalist, Juanita Holiday, Ceasar Berry of the original Tymes, who off-air is also a close personal friend of Ken's, John Salvato, original founding member of the Duprees, Joni James, Connie Francis and 2003 Starsearch Winner, Chantel Douchette.
Ken is founder of "Schaffer Sound Productions" and remains a silent partner and president of the company. Schaffer Sound Productions, located in Havertown, PA, is well known in the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas as a premiere disc jockey entertainment service specializing in disc jockey-emcee entertainment for weddings, private and corporate events.
