On Wednesday, February 18, 2004, several of the WVLT team lunched at the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia meeting at Williamson's Restaurant in Bala Cynwyd, PA.
The speaker was Broadcast Pioneers member Wally Kennedy of WPVI, Channel 6. WVLT personnel on hand were Lou Costello (heard Daily from 10 am to 1 pm & Wednesdays from 7 to 9 pm on Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT), Patti Lattanzi (Thursday 7 to 8 pm) and Johnny Lerro (Saturdays at 6 pm). Also in attendance were WVLT/WMIZ Consultant Gerry Wilkinson, former Cruisin' 92.1 air talent Dave Michaels and former WVLT Program Director Bill Marshall.
The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia is an organization made up of over 300 Delaware Valley broadcasters including a dozen from Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT!
