WVLT's Johnny Lerro has been with Cruisin' 92.1 for years. During this time, he has met and became friends many people in the industry. One is Bill Wright, Sr., sometimes called "The Rebel Wright." Bill was a legend on WIBG when we were growing up. It was he who is directly responsible for much of the music becoming hits when we were kids and we play that music right here on Cruisin' 92.1. Wright holds the market's record for the highest rating, a 52 share. That meant that one out of every two radios was tuned to Bill Wright. He's now retired and lives in Florida.
