CRUISIN' 92.1's NICK DIEZEL WITH A LEGEND

with the Legendary Les Waas
2005
Les Waas has written more melodies than you might think (over 1,000). No, not oldies. Les Waas writes jingles for commercials. Some of the ones that play over and over in your head are his creation. Ones like: "Shop at Kiddie City, Toy Capitol of the World."

Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT's Nick Diezel pointed out that Les also penned two different themes used by the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. Waas has appeared on David Letterman, The Today Show, To Tell the Truth, Mike Douglas, Maury Povich and Tom Snyder. He's truly a legend in jingles (the songs between the songs). Les Waas is a 2005 inductee into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame.

Legends! That's what Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT is all about. Legends and the legendary "Good Time Oldies" of all-time. Check out Nick Diezel Saturday mornings right here on Cruisin' 92.1, WVLT.

Nick Diezel is just one more reason why everyday, more and more people are tuning into
